IT Manager/Helpdesk Manager

Job Summary:
RG Group is seeking an experienced IT Manager / Helpdesk Manager to lead the
implementation and successful deployment of Odoo ERP across all departments, while also
managing day-to-day IT operations and helpdesk support. This dual-role position requires a
professional who is technically proficient, highly organized, and capable of driving IT
infrastructure efficiency across our business units, including hospitality outlets, interiors,
building material distribution, and export divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
ERP Implementation & IT Infrastructure:
• Lead the Odoo ERP implementation, rollout, and integration across all departments.
• Coordinate with ERP vendors, internal stakeholders, and department heads to ensure
smooth transition and training.
• Ensure system connectivity, data migration, user creation, access rights, and module
functionality during ERP implementation.
• Provide continuous post-implementation support, updates, and user guidance.
Helpdesk & Technical Support:
• Provide first and second-level support via phone, email, remote desktop, and in-person
troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, printers, networks, internet
connectivity, and end-user applications.
• Log and manage IT tickets with clear resolution paths and documentation.
Network & Cybersecurity:
• Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place across all RG Group companies.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify vulnerabilities, risks, and incidents.
• Implement firewall configurations, antivirus solutions, and secure backup systems.
• Conduct regular IT audits and system health checks.
POS, Tablets & Outlet Connectivity:
• Manage POS systems, tablets, printers, and peripherals at our hospitality outlets.
• Ensure all devices are fully connected, regularly updated (e.g., iOS updates), and protected.
• Troubleshoot system or device-related breakdowns and coordinate timely resolutions.
IT Asset & System Management:
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, licenses, and access permissions.
• Coordinate system upgrades, software installations, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Manage user accounts, email configurations, backups, and file-sharing systems (e.g.,
OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Provide support for VoIP systems, cloud storage, and collaborative tools (Microsoft 365,
Teams, etc.).
Training & Awareness:
• Conduct internal IT awareness training and onboarding support for new users.
• Promote best practices in IT hygiene and data security across departments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an IT Helpdesk Engineer, IT Support Specialist, or IT Manager.
• Demonstrated experience in ERP systems (preferably Odoo) implementation or
support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and networking fundamentals (IP, Firewalls,
Routers).
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Cloud solutions, and remote support
tools.
• Familiarity with POS systems, database troubleshooting, and iOS/Android
environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, MCP, or equivalent are an
advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in multi-location IT support, especially in hospitality or retail
environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and backup/recovery protocols.
• Background in system integrations and cross-platform support (ERP + POS + Cloud).
• Bilingual (English and French) is a strong asset.
